Summary

DualAudioRelay has no user account, cloud relay, advertising, analytics, tracking, or audio recording. Its purpose is to send audio directly from a nearby iPhone to a paired Mac over a local encrypted connection.

Audio and screen capture

The iOS app requests Apple's full-display capture permission so it can receive system audio. Video buffers are discarded immediately and are never transmitted or written to storage. The microphone is not requested by DualAudioRelay. Audio is forwarded only to the paired Mac selected by the user and is not stored.

Local network and pairing

The apps use the local network or Apple peer-to-peer networking to discover and connect to each other. A random pairing key and receiver identifier are stored in the system Keychain on the paired devices. Numenlight does not receive this information.

Diagnostics

Diagnostic exports are created only when the user requests one. They contain technical metrics such as buffer depth, packet loss, timing, mode, and device category. They do not contain audio, pairing keys, account identifiers, or a recording of screen content. The user decides whether to share an exported report.

Data collection and sharing

• No personal data is collected by Numenlight through the apps.
• No data is sold or used for tracking.
• No third-party analytics or advertising SDK is included.
• No cloud account or server is required for normal operation.
